We are always looking for ways to improve our services at Takeaway Penzance. If it isn’t making new pizza recipes, creating new burgers or sourcing new lines for drinks. This time we have turned our attention to how you pay for your takeaway.

Most takeaways in Penzance offer credit card, debit card or cash on delivery payment options. Now in most cases this is fine, but as the directors of Takeaway Penzance come from a thoroughly modern technical background, its not surprising that they wanted to drag the takeaway business kicking and screaming in to the 21st century.

So, with that in mind it was decided that customers should have a wider choice on how they can pay for their pizza delivery.

Almost immediately PayPal was introduced as an alternative payment gateway for customers and this proved to be very popular indeed. In fact, PayPal represents 6% of our total revenue.

A little later down the line Apple Pay was introduced and that has proven to be just as popular. It seemed that customers do want to pay in a variety of different ways. Although traditional payment options are still the main way customers pay, it goes to show that this trend is shifting towards mobile payments and through apps.

With this in mind, the directors insisted that customers must have even more ways they can pay for their fast food deliveries, and so a plan was put in to place to see that happen.

Cool is not a strong enough word to describe the next way customers could pay… Amazon Pay! Yes, you can now ask Alexa to pay for your flame grilled burger or stone baked pizza and it will be delivered to your door. How cool is that?

It doesn’t stop there. Google pay has now been introduced as an option and AfterPay as well.

AfterPay is a credit club. You can buy your takeaway and pay for it over 6 weeks interest free. That’s kind of useful if you are paid monthly and fancy a takeaway half way from pay day. There’s no need to wait any longer.

So next time you want to order a stone baked pizza, burgers, hotdogs or alcohol for delivery from Takeaway Penzance, you’ll have more ways to pay than any other takeaway in Penzance.
